A Letter from the Secretary-General
Dear Delegates, faculty advisors, and future diplomats
The twelfth Session of the Hwa Chong Conflict Resolution and Inquiry (HCCRI) will be held from 29
May to 30 May in an entirely physical format at Hwa Chong Institution.
Established in 2011, HCCRI is one of Singapore's leading and most prestigious Model United Nations
(MUN) conferences in the pre-university circuit. The two-day event allows delegates to delve
into the intricacies of a wide range of global and national issues, working together with other
like-minded peers to navigate the sophisticated policy-making process of the political realms.
At HCCRI, we aim to provide all delegates with a rewarding and enriching experience, regardless of
experience level. For newer delegates, our beginner committees and delegate training allow you to
debate on intricate global issues with much support and guidance. For the more experienced
delegates, our intermediate and advanced councils, such as the Rajya Sabha, will provide you with
much academic rigour while navigating the various special rules of procedures. Besides the academic
components, our unique special projects initiatives, such as inter-council activities and Socials
Night, will provide all delegates with an enjoyable experience throughout the two days.
On behalf of the Secretariat, we are delighted to announce that registration is now open for HCCRI
XII. This document contains further information regarding our conference and how our conference will
enrich your MUN experience. Should we require further clarification, do email us hccri.secretariat@gmail.com.
We look forward to seeing you at the 12th edition of HCCRI!
Best Regards,
Jonathan Lee
Secretary-General
