The question of the use of unmanned combat aerial vehicles

The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), also known as the United Nations General Assembly First Committee, addresses and draws up solutions for global challenges that threaten international security and peace, taking into account all disarmament and security issues under the UN Charter. In this conference, delegates would embark on a thrilling debate on unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs).

The proliferation of UCAVs has become an increasing concern over the past few years. Yet, not only the production, but also the export of UCAVs will never decline in numbers. Be it through the Russian-Ukraine War or the Azerbaijan-Armenia War, the threat of UCAVs have become more prominent. How then, can delegates curb this threat that can potentially jeopardise our global peace?
