Joint Cabinet Crisis

Thundering gunfire, shockwaves from cannon blasts and the roar of planes.

The Spanish Civil War in 1936, often referred to as the “dress rehearsal” for World War II, transformed Spain into a raging battlefield where Nationalists and Republicans struggle for power over control of the nation. Over the course of council, delegates of both the Nationalist and Republican cabinets have to apply strategies of war, the art of diplomacy and political intrigue to seek absolute victory over their enemies.

By balancing governance and conflict, personal and party interests, established generals and political officials alike will have to face off against one another, advance inch by inch and take the reins of the once great Spanish empire. Will the Nationalists prevail, or will the Republicans defy history by holding on to power? Only time will tell…
